Man Stunned by Wife’s Efforts on 50th Birthday

Virginia man Stephen Beckworth says he was absolutely floored by his 50^th birthday celebration, orchestrated by his wife.

“My wife said she really wanted to take me to Disney for my birthday,” he told us. “I’m not a huge Disney guy, but she said she had something really special planned for me so I figured, ‘what the heck, let’s do it.’ I didn’t expect her to go this all out!”

“Celebrations literally everywhere you look. Every corner of every park, a big 50, celebrating me! I don’t know who she talked to to pull this off but she knocked it out of the park. What a week!”

Stephen tells us his wife, Rose, also took him for a birthday dinner at Space 220, which he says “was also pretty okay.”

“I don’t know how he got it in his mind this was all for him,” Rose told us. “Dinner at Space 220 was the surprise, but once he thought everything was for him, I certainly wasn’t going to spoil it.”

Mr. Beckworth says he and his wife’s relationship is stronger than ever, and he never knew she cared about him this deeply.
