BATHROOM: City Hall @ Magic Kingdom
When strolling down Main Street, one of the first bathrooms you’ll encounter at the Magic Kingdom is also one of my favorites in the whole park. You’ll find it adjacent to City Hall, along with ample seating for your friends and family to wait for you to take a leak down memory lane in this early 20th century themed restroom.
Ambiance 6/10
While the outside has a lot of character, the overall mood of Main Street doesn’t fully transfer over to the washroom. Without music, that can always be tricky. You will feel a sense of upper-class in here, but without modern technology being better hidden/themed, it’s hard to fully feel like you’ve entered the 19th century.
Decor 6/10
Don’t get me wrong, this is definitely an overall pretty bathroom—and I LOVE the Ladies/Gentlemen signs outside (what a great touch!)—but the floor and tiling are pretty basic and there is no art inside to speak of. It’s always a shame when the best decor is outside. However, points were gained on the beautiful marble trough sink and wall faucets.
Facilities 8/10
This is another recently updated bathroom, so you’ll find all top notch facilities inside. I love the impressively large mirror at both the front and back, and a sink for the little ones is always a welcome feature.
Privacy 5/10
As far as bathrooms in the Magic Kingdom go, this is relatively a private option. Being at the entrance of the park and not near the main attractions, you won’t find as many people clamoring for relief as you will deeper in the park. The remarkable size (double sinks and stalls on both sides) will also lend itself to you being able to find an open spot to be discreet.
