BATHROOM: Jungle Skipper Canteen @ Magic Kingdom

blank

This little-known Magic Kingdom bathroom lies deep in the back of the the Jungle Skipper Canteen Restaurant, making it one of the most private DisDump zones in all of Magic Kingdom. Continue your Jungle Cruise adventure in this well-themed, Certified Must-Pee space where the pun don’t stop!

Ambiance 9/10
The Canteen is a very rare example of a restaurant directly inspired by an attraction. You’ll feel like your skipper just stepped off your boat and followed you to your table, where they offer tons of new puns to enhance your dining experience. This feeling of immersion transfers perfectly into the bathroom where you can really appreciate the ambient jungle music in the serenity of these closed walls. Best of all you can read this special edition of The Daily Gnus (hah!) complete with 4 front page stories. You won’t find too many other restrooms where story building is happening! This is the kind of ambiance such a restaurant deserves.

Decor 9/10
Your journey begins by entering through this beautiful louvered door with a distressed finish. The tiling is especially notable, and I love that it carries over into the sink, which a work of art on its own—the intricate wooden leg design and wall faucet make for a great place to wash up, especially with the stunningly detailed mirror above.

Facilities 6/10
This is the lowest scoring section for this bathroom, only because it is on the smaller side. The men’s room only features 1 stall and 1 urinal. You’ll only find 1 sink and a paper hand drying option as well.

Privacy 8/10
There are few more private restrooms in the Magic Kingdom. I absolutely love when a stall is as enclosed and becomes something of its own room, as this one does. Apart from getting on a bus and heading to a resort, this is a great option to lay some private pipe at the park.
