BATHROOM: Toledo @ Coronado Springs

At the very top of the Gran Destino Tower at Cornado Springs rests one of the best views of any bathroom in Walt Disney World. That’s why this is a Certified Must Pee for any Walt Disney World restroom enthusiast!

Ambiance 10/10
What a view! If you enjoy peeing with a little underlying risk of someone seeing like I do, this is the place to go. Similarly, point your binoculars at the 16th floor and you may get to sneak a peek at some unsuspecting wizzers.

Decor 8/10
While there is no artwork inside, this is a simply beautiful bathroom. The marble counter tops, tiles, sink faucets and mirrors all score huge points. The back-splash and plant are great touches as well. We’re big suckers for custom printed hand towels, and this bathroom delivers (unlike the Polynesian Village Resort Lobby bathroom)!

Facilities 6/10
While an overall impressive bathroom, some points were lost on facilities for lack of alternate hand drying options (only the branded hand towels were available) and on size. The men’s bathroom only featured 1 urinal, 1 handicap stall and 1 standard stall.  It’s not entirely kid-friendly either without a low sink option.

Privacy 8/10
This is a bit tricky, because this bathroom services both Toledo and the adjacent bar area, but since it’s all the way up on the 16th floor of a hotel, I’m going to consider it pretty obscure. You should be able to have a pretty private go of it here. For an amazing experience, I recommend visiting in the morning or afternoon before the bar and restaurant open. You may just have the whole floor to yourself and a chance to really enjoy the view!
