Disney Announces Cyber Monday Exclusive: Cyber with your Favorite Characters

Disney announced today a new exclusive Cyber Monday event for this year’s internet answer to Black Friday: for the first time ever, Disney fans will be able to interact digitally with their favorite Disney characters.

“Offering experiences in cyberspace, or ‘cybering,’ as we call it at Disney, has seen a boom in popularity since we first started dealing with COVID-19 in March, 2020,” Disney’s Chief of Character Interaction Phoebe Judd said in a press release Saturday. “We’ve been hard at work to find a way for you to e-meet, or ‘cyber,’ with your favorite characters, just in time for Cyber Monday.”

Today, Walt Disney fans around the globe who log-in to their My Disney Experience accounts will see a new tab, “Character Cybering” on their home screen. From this section of the app, users will be able to schedule 5-, 15-, or 30-minute cyber sessions with their favorite characters.

Of course, each character comes at a different price. While more economically challenged fans can stay on the cheaper side and cyber with the likes of Pluto, Remy the Rat, or the chef from Lady and the Tramp, die-hard fans can shell out top-dollar for the chance to cyber with Elsa, Goofy, or Tinkerbell.

Disney hasn’t announced an end date for these new cyber experiences, but you’ll have to be fast! Slots are filling quickly for the holiday season.
