Epcot Voted #1 Restaurant in Orlando for 3rd Straight Year

After being named Orlando’s #1 restaurant in 2020, Epcot has done it again!

The conversion from theme park to restaurant is nearly complete, as more new food options opened this year, including Space 220 and La Crêperie de Paris, in the expanded dining section of France. Food fans also reveled in the unprecedented 128 day run of popular Food and Wine fest, which will finally come to a merciful end on November 20, giving way for another great chance to dine: Festival of the Holidays.

Still the most exclusive restaurant in town, you’ll need to fork up nearly $150 on the weekend just to enter, and that’s before you spend $10 to get your paws on a 3 ounce pour of beer. This has not stopped hungry or thirsty guests from coming through the gates, as attendance has continued to rise, with restaurant passes even being sold out on many days.

Bob Chapek, CEO of Disney, praised the work he has done at Epcot.

In my short tenure as CEO, Epcot, or Experimental Prototype Café of Tomorrow, is the accomplishment I take the most pride in. Did you know it would cost a family of 4 over $900 just to enter my restaurant and eat at Space 220 for dinner on a Saturday night? Happy investors, happy life — that’s what I always say. I’ve been looking at what makes Epcot so successful and working closely with my investors to convert all of our theme parks to this same lucrative restaurant format.

Chapek played coy when asked what’s next for Epcot, but hinted big things are on the way. “Stay hungry,” he said with an unsettling wink.
