Finally – Your Chance to Meet your Favorite Hamilton Characters on Disney Property
Now that Lin-Manuel Miranda’s smash-hit Broadway musical has made its way to Disney+, you’re probably wondering when you can meet Princess Eliza and the rest of the gang. Well, the wait is over! We sat down with Emily de la Cruz, VP of Character Meet and Greets, to get the inside scoop on the new Hamilton meet and greets coming to Walt Disney World parks and resorts. Here’s how to meet your favorite Hamilton characters on your next Orlando vacation:

Alexander Hamilton – Caribbean Beach Resort
Take a Skyliner over to the Caribbean Beach resort for your chance to meet the hero of the play, the tomcat himself, Alexander Hamilton.

“We wanted to continue our initiative of bringing exclusive character meet-and-greets out of the parks and into our resorts.” de la Cruz told us. “The magic doesn’t stop when you pass the turnstile on your way out of the parks, and we’re continuing to look for ways to bring more excitement and unique experiences to each of our resorts.”

We’re told that guests of Caribbean Beach can find a disheveled Alexander Hamilton regularly roaming the resort, asking for money for his passage to New York, or in the lobby furiously writing of his surroundings. While at the resort, be sure to look out for special intermittent hurricanes from June 1 to November 30!

King George III – Magic Kingdom – Cinderella’s Castle
Every day at 3pm you can line up for your chance to meet a bitterly angry King George III, fresh from a journey across the pond. Emily doesn’t have much to say on this one, other than “Bring a poncho or keep your distance! He’s a spitter!”

Aaron Burr and Alexander Hamilton, Angelica and Eliza Schuyler – Magic Kingdom – Liberty Square
This one’s just for guests of Walt Disney World resorts! Head over to Magic Kingdom for exclusive pre-dawn Extra Magic Hours, where  Liberty Square hosts a special surprise at dawn.

“Right in the middle of the midway at dawn,” Emily told us, “you can see a reenactment of the shot fired directly into the ribs of Alexander Hamilton by the scoundrel Aaron Burr, and watch the anguish on Angelica and Eliza Schuyler’s faces as the discover the passing of Hamilton. We’ve been looking for more ways to bring live-action shows into the Magic Kingdom, and this one just felt like a no-brainer!”

Watch as Hamilton marches down from the Haunted Mansion, and delight in a vociferous counting to 10 paces with the crowd. While there’s no need to turn around to have deniability, please do note that Disney is cautioning children under the age of 12 to do so. Additional sources revealed to us that you can also expect more appearances of the grieving Schuyler Sisters throughout the day.

blankMickey du Lafeyette – Epcot – France Pavilion
That’s right! This is a daily meet and greet in the France Pavilion at Epcot. You and your little ones alike will get the chance to meet Mickey du Lafeyette, Mickey Mouse in character as America’s Favorite Fighting Frenchman, Marquis du Lafeyette. Don’t forget to stop by Monsieur Paul for a meat-and-greet with a cold plate of Horse Tartare!
